The Sunnet boss revealed that the partnership between Sunnet and Huawei began about four years ago, and was born out of the need to ensure realization of expectations of Nigerians, especially in the field of information technology.

According to Olagunji “We have since worked closely with Huawei to understand the need of our clients, to understand their businesses to be able to come up with appropriate technology that will ensure that we are able to deliver seamlessly solutions that help our customers to focus on their business while we take the bottleneck out of their neck, so Huawei is very very strategic to us.”

He added that Huawei has the right technology that is resilient, serviceable; optimal for the business environment and also ensures affordability.

Olagunji said Sunnet is into marketing of a lot of a range of enterprise solutions for Huawei, “Huawei has so much end-to-end solutions that we work closely with them to deliver to our clients. Apart from server storage solution, they have network solutions, security solutions, security equipment that would ensure that the customer is able to protect the environment.”

Talking about the Huawei Kunlun Server, he said “The good news is that Huawei Kunlun Server is a game changer, the Kunlun server delivers an enterprise level server security and processing capacity that can handle from medium to very large enterprises, whether they are government institutions, that have a lot of requirement for data storage, that requires intuitive technology to protect those data or other institutions like the banks, insurance, and so many other institutions like that, and manufacturing companies running SAP.

“Huawei Kunlun Server is a game changer, it is scalable, available, serviceable, it gives you almost 100% up-time availability, that means even in time of maintenance you don’t need to bring down the server, you can do concurrent maintenance on them while your data is still being processed, so that is really the beauty of Huawei Kunlun server. It can compare with any enterprise server across the globe, and I feel this is why we are so excited to host Huawei, and to sell this story to all our numerous customers that right now Huawei has what it takes to deliver enterprise class solutions which is really good for us,” Olagunji stated.

Though Huawei has other partners, Sunnet is one of the topmost strategic partners of Huawei because of our engagement in the Nigerian industry, not just in Nigeria but across West Africa, also our skill and the caliber of our customers, we understand the Nigerian business terrain.”
